Verizon Wireless Theater
The Verizon Wireless Theater, which should not be confused with Irvine’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheater,
is located in the entertainment complex Bayou Place in downtown Houston. Verizon Wireless Theater Houston was formerly known as the Aerial Theater and is currently owned by Live Nation.
The unique and adjustable seating design of Verizon Wireless Theater Houston allows the venue to accommodate theater, cabaret and general performances. Although nothing fancy or luxurious, Verizon Wireless Theater event goers rave about the venue’s great sound and intimate setting. The Verizon Wireless Theater schedule make up for the mediocre setting and tight seating by welcoming great performances by Elton John, Rob Thomas and Velvet Revolver. In 2010, the Verizon Wireless Theater is scheduled to have performances by Eddie Griffin, Mariah Carey and Owl City.
